The Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT is one of the best high end graphics card available in the current market. It provides a complete entertainment experience designed for high definition gaming and video playback. It can seamlessly integrate itself even with the most demanding DirectX 1o games and play them smoothly at high visual settings. It also helps in viewing HD or Blu-Ray DVDs with great clarity and redefines the 3D user experience in the Windows Media Center. PureHD technology enables lifelike pictures and vibrant colors while CPU offload capabilities help the user in playing the latest games and merging photos and videos with ease. I was thoroughly impressed how the 9600 GT allowed me to run Crysis Warhead with full visual detailing, shadow and texture enabled and did not falter in frame rate even the slightest bit. I also tuned Bioshock and Assasin's Creed to maximum settings and all of them ran smoothly without a single glitch. I could also play 1080p HD videos seamlessly without any video lag or random freezes. The Nvidia SLI technology enabled a 2X performance increase over other GPUs while the dynamic contrast enhancement feature made the games seem brilliantly realistic with frame by frame optimization. I no longer had to worry about playing the latest games of high definition movies as the GeForce 9600 GT made everything work like wonders. It is a great value for money and I strongly advise gamers to buy this one. |

Although the disadvantage of overheating is a big matter, I recommend you to buy this product because you won’t find any other product with these specifications at this price.

| The Good | There are only good things that I can say for this video card. I own it for six months and I can play every video game to the top of its performance. Own of the heaviest game for a video card is Microsoft Flight Simulator, but this video card can run it by giving over 40 frames per second. Another advantage of this powerful card is the price. The ratio performance/price is very big and surely one of the best in the market. |
| The Bad | I didn’t try to over clock this video card but I think that this is not the best thing to do with this card. The reason I say that is because one day the card reach the enormous temperature of 95 Celsius degrees. The only explanation to this is that I left the PC working for 3 days continuously. I think that a serious – high performance video card should execute a 3-days work without the problem of overheating. |

If your a gamer that, while stuck on a budget, wants quality and performance from the graphic card they buy then I cannot offer one any better then the GeForce 9600 GT from Nvidia. For a year the computer I currently use for every-day tasks along with my gaming has used the GeForce 9600 and I've yet to see a game that I cannot run upon the graphic's card. As such, with the affordable rate that it comes from at the Market I would suggest the card for anyone stuck upon a budget looking to increase the performance of their video card. |
| The Bad | Like many graphic's cards within the coming new age, the Geforce 9600 GT isn't always capable of powering the game to it's 'full' potential without slowing down the performance of the computer down based upon games that are graphic dependent (Ex. Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Lord of the Rings Online) meaning it is sometimes necessary to run it on a lower setting with the new coming age without completely diminishing the beauty the graphics offer. |
| The Ugly | It's truly difficult to find something to say ugly about the GeForce 9600. Perhaps the one complaint I can make about the card itself is the sheer bulk of the card itself along with the requirement for a converter for the connection to the Monitor and the Card. I've not seen a lot of monitor's with the small plugs that it requires for most of the one's that I 'have' seen have some-what bigger plug-ins. Although this complaint could only be due to out-dated LCD Monitors that I currently hold within my possession. |
