HP has always been a forerunner in manufacturing quality computer systems and associated products , so when I bought the HP w2207 LCD monitor for my home desktop, I was expecting nothing but the best. The first impressive feature was the tilting and height adjustment options so I could configure the monitor based on my choices. The dedicated keys on the monitor give rise to four presets based on gaming,watching movies, viewing pictures or just typing text. I switched onto the basic mode and found the monitor to have great picture clarity with amazing brightness and contrast settings. It even performed well during HD video playback, where most monitors falter. The glossy finish made colors look a lot more vibrant and added to the overall tonal quality of the picture. My biggest problem was with the HP provided display software which kept giving me glitches and I could never get it to work properly. This hampered the overall experience but in terms of high contrast ratios and performances, I was impressed with my HP w2207 monitor. YouTube videos looked better, photos looked sharper and the web world looked s lot brighter. An excellent choice for anyone in need of a new monitor. |
