The Good the unmatchable clarity of 1080p digital hd quality images along with full HD motion features to reduce blurs , dynamic contrast ratio and wide colour enhancer makes the image smooth, crisp and clear giving a movie theatre experience.
The Bad Picture output is often a bit reduced as most channels are not 1080p compliant. low sound during certain transmissions and the bulky model might cause a few minor hinderances.
Your Review The Samsung 50" full 1080P HD Plasma TV is the best of the best you can get in terms of high definition digitial entertainment right at your homes. The resolution of 1920x1280 with a 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio provides true color reproduction and enhanced image processing for the complete high definition experience. The Digital Natural Image engine(DNIe) feature from Samsung takes care of image detailing and balance to produce sharp images and the wide color enhancer makes for a brilliant display of unprecedented clarity.

Samsung pushes the bar even further with the introduction of FiterBright anti glare technology to block unnecessary external light and the SRS Truesurround XT audio gives a thundering audio to match the display. the 5.1 channel system creates true to life sound and the three HDMI ports allows for maximum portability. The enery saving feature and Media@2.0 feature allows you to filter in internet TV and videos at the touch of a button, completing the experience.

The bulky weight and reduced image quality for some low end channels can bother you sometimes but only if you are a nitpicker. Overall, Samsung provides an outstanding product that changes the entire home viewing experience , providing you with high definition entertainment like never before.

Small price huge T.V.

User Review

The Good The Samsung PN50B550, a 50” 1080p HD Plasma TV, is perhaps one of the best investments I've made in buying a front-room T.V. With an easy set up, straight from the box to the stand with a few screws thrown in the large TV seems to fit well enough in my front-room with no movement unless it's 'pushed' to move even from a slightly shaky TV stand. The video of the TV is great even without channels in HDTV (Although it is suggested to get te most out of your purchase) and the games seem to have been given new life. With plenty of slots for the systems and connections of the actual TV the only thing that might make it better is the fact that the TV didn't cost 'too' much when it came to pricing.
The Bad The TV isn't light and as such moving it would be a pain when it comes down to actually 'moving' the large object wherever we might be taking it. As for containing it and moving it, the normal movement ability is also restrained meaning you might have either a well suited place to put it into a truck or if the truck is full you might need to protect the screen (If you already through the box away like me) with something else. Other then this, the only true problem might be the knowing that Plasma might not last as long as normal LCD TVs.
The Ugly The heaviest of the T.V. it self makes it hard to move around so I suggest finding "the" spot for it. The remote seems to be limited compared to all the functions listed. Really to name anything else bad about this product would be nick picking.
