Sprint keeps me connected!

User Review

The Good I used to drive from Oklahoma City to San Jose, California a couple times a year with small children and not once did I ever reach a spot where I didn't have service! Even up in the mountains in Cali! I've traveled with that same service to Montreal and didn't have a problem one. I remember once when I used AT&T for my cell phone carrier I was in Detroit, Michigan for a weekend. When I got my cell phone bill it said I made calls from Canada. Apparently, the tower in Canada caught my phone forcing me to PAY for that service. Totally unprofessional and just not right if you ask me! Every time I needed to call customer service they were always pleasant and helpful. I have never had a problem with my bill either. Their plans are great and they don't force you to a la cart every single service option. Data coverage and speed for the fancier phones is pretty good too. Not to mention the new Digital Lounge that I particularly like.
The Bad Sprint purchased Nextel a long time ago with the hopes of merging their CDNA technology and Nextel's iDEN technology. So far, we don't see any real progress other than Sprint's promise to be on the 4G network by the end of 2009. We'll see.
The Ugly Nothing is really bad about the service that I can think of. The prices are comparable, if not cheaper than most other carriers. But with all the mergers these days, who really knows who is powered by whom? I think the biggest problem I had in the past was when I upgraded a phone from Sprint, I lost all my ringtones installed and had to buy them again.
Would you recommend? Yes
