| The Good | The easy availability of branches and ATMS all over so transaction is always around the corner. The unlimited check writing procedure and consumer profit oriented program add to the benefits. |
| The Bad | Customer service is often below the mark which is not expected from a bank of such standards. |

Bank Of America, also known as the "Bank Of Opportunity" is one of the top five largest banks in America. The biggest bonus of a savings account with this bank is the availability of branches and ATMS at every nook and corner, regardless of your location. This makes for smooth emergency transactions while on the road and is perhaps the primary cause of the bank's customer satisfaction reports. The standard checking account requires a minimum balance of 100$ but the best part of the deal is that no additonal service fee is levied if the minimum requisite balance is maintained throughout the month. Some of the other great features are free online banking and bill pay, the option of unlimited check writing and the provision of a free debit card for all your personal uses. If you deposit a large sum on your checking account, you have the cash back reward system on your debit card. You also get overdraft protection completely free along with a free check wallet and safety deposit box. You are also given a guaranteed fraud and identity theft protection along with stock options. College students can avail great benefits from the "Campus Edge" account system which has no monthly fees or no minimum balance to maintain. The "My Access Account" feature also provides all the above features with no minimum balance requirement. Customer service is still lagging at most points but most transactions can be done online easily bypassing manual servicing. Overall, its a great choice for opening up a checking account. |

| The Good | Easy to get account. ATMs are EVERYWHERE. Save it up or add it up, whatever it's called allows you to round to the nearest dollar on every purchase. BofA automatically adds these funds to your savings account and does some kind of funds match at the end of the year. Online chat support is great as well as the online portfolio that allows you to import other financial data (such as stock portfolio, bank accounts, credit cards, etc) into your online dashboard. |
| The Bad | With every bank, their physical locations aren't open around the clock. Bank of America usually closes around 5PM-6PM. Weekend hours are extremely limited, if in existence. |
| The Ugly | Overdraft fees. If you overwithdraw your account, you will be screwed. However, they do offer ways to withdraw funds from savings account when not available. |
