The Good Toasts evenly and uniformly, easy to clean up and extremely durable.
The Bad Gets really hot extremely quickly so one needs to get accustomed to settings.
The Ugly Takes up a lot of space which is not suited for economy sized kitchens.
Your Review The Proctor Silex Plus 6 Slice Toaster Oven was one of my first kitchen gadgets when I moved into a new apartment and it was also the most useful one. I was bowled over by its simple but sturdy design which has provided me great reliability and durability even after years. In terms of basic functioning, I was impressed with its ability in even and uniform toasting providing good quality toast. It is extremely efficient and a great value for its money, considering its so expensive. The crumb tray is pretty easy to clean and I was also provided with a set of trays and racks which added functionality and adjustment capabilities to the toaster. It might be simple and basic in its features but it lives up to its claims of toasting and baking biscuits.

One major problem is that it gets heated up extremely quickly and can burn the bread, so one will need to get accustomed with the optimized settings. Another big issue is its generous size which many would find to fit in their kitchen. However , if you have a big kitchen, this product is worth every single penny. Go for it!

This toaster oven is an extremely good solution for people who don’t know how to cook so they don’t need a big oven. I gave 40$ and I have a small oven, that help me cook pizza and toast. You will not find a better solution if you want something in this category.

The Good This machine isn’t a powerful machine that has a lot of good things. It is just a little oven. So the good things aren’t based on its functionality. I have to say that the price I the first good thing for this oven. 40$ isn’t a big amount of money. The design of this device is also a good thing. This shiny black is my favorite color. Last but not least, the auto-shut off function helps me a lot. This function makes this device safe.
The Bad I haven’t found any bad thing for this device. It is a simple, easy to use toaster oven…

Overall, this handy kitchen appliance is well worth the money!

User Review

The Good I use my Proctor Silex Plus Toaster Oven on an almost daily basis! Versatile, easy to use and cost effective. I’m so glad I purchased this one! This unit features both bottom and top heating elements so things get cooked on both sides. There is a handy timer so if you get distracted, when you hear the ding, you know your toast is perfect. I’ve even stuck a 12” pizza in there and not only does it fit perfectly, it’s cooked evenly! The possibilities are endless, especially when you want to involve the kids in the kitchen. My have made mini-pizza muffins and cupcakes and the six-muffin pan fits in there nicely! It also comes with all the trays and racks you’ll need, plus the instruction booklet has quite a few recipe ideas. I paid about $35 for this toaster oven and I’ve definitely gotten my dollars worth out of it!
The Bad This item takes quite a bit of counter space which is definitely a drawback. In a family of 6, I need all the prep room I can get! On the plus side, I was able to send the old toaster to the Goodwill because this unit does it all!
The Ugly The only feature that really bugs me is how hot the unit gets on top. I can’t place anything up there other than pot holders because of the heat. The Proctor Silex Plus 6-Slice Toaster Oven could definitely use a design overhaul as far as the heating is concerned.
