The Good Large capacity with excellent cooking flavor, the removable pot with lid protector and the carrying case.
The Bad The cord is a bit short which creates a problem in certain times.
Your Review The Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker makes cooking a breeze with its powerful crockpot abilities that adds a definite flavor to cooking. As a home maker myself, there are several distinct advantages which makes this my primary cooker choice. The removable pot is really useful in terms of easy cleaning and serving. The three settings of high, low and keep warm gives me complete control over the exact manner in which I want to cook something. The lid protector keeps the lid firmly in place when carrying the cooker around so it does not break. The large oval shape accommodates chicken and vegetables quite easily and helps in providing a uniformly distributed cooking procedure for all my meals.

The slow cooker also has temperature regulating controls do I can set off the exact warmth to the prepared meal based on when my guests arrive. The travel bag is extremely efficient as it helps keep the meal hot for hours and ensures that no damage is done to the cooker during its portability from one place to the other. Dried beans and peas are come out with great texture on this cooker and the meal is perfect every single time. The cord is a bit short but with extensions and considering its price point, the Hamilton Beach 7 qt slow cooker is one of the best cooking solutions around and highly impressive in the kitchen!

I am a big fan of slow cookers. I think that slow cookers make flavorful meals. I own the Hamilton Beach 7-qt Slow Cooker for 3 months and I am very satisfied. It is an easy to use device. It has only one switch with which you can select if you want high temperature, low temperature or shut it off.

The Good The advantage of this slow cooker is the price. It is too cheap and its performance is high. Another good is that the stoneware and the tampered-glass lid are removable so you can put them in the dishwasher. This is very important for me. I was surprised when I found a recipes book in the package.
The Bad This device lacks of design. The classic white and the blue drawings are old-fashioned.
The Ugly I would me more satisfied if this device supported a timer function so I could have it shut-off when the food was ready.

Perfect size, price and features! And nothing beats a big pot of stew slow cooked all day long on a cold day!

User Review

The Good This is the best slow cooker I’ve used in a long, long time. I’ve had my trusty old light green and gold, antique crock pot given to me by my grandmother for years and refused to give it up. But when it finally took a dive (after 20+ years of tasty meals) I was forced to head out and buy another. I wanted one that was big enough to feed my family of six, under $40 and that I could take with me for potlucks and such. Boy did I find what I was looking for in this Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker! The 7-qt size is perfect for soups, stews, or even a whole chicken, and at under $35 I stayed within my budget! The best part is I can make a big batch of queso to send along with dear hubby for his football games fiestas at his brother’s house and he doesn’t even spill an ounce with the fancy carrying case! The base easily wipes clean with a sponge and the pot itself it dishwasher safe. Not to mention it's white, so you can definitely tell if it's clean or not versus the black or other colored pots.
The Bad Honestly, the only problem I’ve had using this slow cooker is the lid. While it does have a rubber seal, if you fill it brim high with a sloshy soup, pack it up to take to granny’s for supper, you are bound to get a little spillage. I’ve avoided this by not filling it so high… after my first lesson. But for chickens and queso, it travels quite well!
The Ugly The worst feature, or lack thereof, is no power indicator light. From across the room you can’t tell if it’s plugged in or not. In a family with four kids who are constantly rummaging through the kitchen, this would be a bonus feature to make the Hamilton Beach 7-qt Slow Cooker a sheer success!
