| The Good | Well built design that allows for smooth ironing options and gliding through fabrics. Lots of steam holes allowing steam to be ready extremely quickly and ability of vertical use makes this an excellent choice. |
| The Bad | A strong robust build that is not suitable for sensitive clothes. It has a short working life and is expensive in terms of its feature set. |

The Rowenta DZ5080 iron with auto shut off succeeds in its consumer base because of its strong and durable design that makes it easy to reach tough to get spots for ironing. The steam gets ready extremely quickly and the ironing is smooth because of the presence of a large number of steam holes. It is great for ironing out wrinkles and creases and has the ability to steam even in an upright position. The auto shut off feature is excellent overriding any forgetful mistakes and making it a step higher than any other normal iron its range. The little pointed tip in the iron plate makes it easier to iron little nudges and crevices and the self cleaning system ensure that the clothes stay clean all the time during the ironing procedure. The durability has a few glitches that needs repairs and it still feels expensive because of its limited set of features. Overall, the Rowenta DZ5080 Iron might not be the best product out there in the market but it does provide what it claims- provide a robust, detailed and safe ironing experience for a variety of fabrics. That alone makes it a buy! |

This iron isn’t surely the most professional and complicated iron that I have ever seen. But it is just an iron. Two hours before a school party my mother tried to iron my favorite t-shirt and her old iron broke down. She sent me to the nearest shop to buy another on. The seller told me that this iron will help us to solve our problem. I went back home and my mother was a little disappointed. She first thought that a clever seller stole my money. But by the way she understood that this iron was exactly what she asked for. As I said this is a simple solid construction iron, easy to use and the ironing results are totally accepted.

| The Good | The auto-shut off feature was something new to me. I think that every iron should have it. This iron is first of all a safe machine. It also has a big water tank that can iron over 20 t-shirts at once. |
| The Bad | If you want to iron some sensitive clothes you have to be careful with this iron. |

You get what you pay for, and you definitely get a quality iron in the Rowenta!

| The Good | When I first saw this iron at Kohl's I was pretty skeptical. I had a gift certificate though and decided to go ahead and get it. I'm more of the $20 iron kind of gal, but mine went out so I needed to replace it. Besides, it wasn't out of pocket for me and I could return it if I didn't like it. My husband works for the State and has a fancy uniform he has to wear. Iron is a must in this house unless I want to pay for drycleaning... no an option. I must say, I've had fantastic results with the Rowenta! No power off button, which is a little confusing if you ask me, but the auto-off feature works like a charm. It steams so good I don't have to spray water anymore and I threw away the starch bottle. Plus it doesn't feel like I'm pushing around a gallon of milk when I fill up the water container. Very easy to use and great results each time! |
| The Bad | The temperature dial is not in the best spot. I keep knocking it with my hand when I'm trying to iron. Some design restructuring is necessary here, but it's not impossible to work around. |
| The Ugly | The price! At $80 for this Rowenta I felt like I was buying a new car. I inspected and looked at that sticker price a million times before I believed an iron could cost that much. I'm not sure I would spent that kind of money on an iron... Thank goodness for that gift certificate or I'd be missing out! |
