| The Good |
There was great disappointment when Canon had released XL2 DV Camcorder without any HD potencies. But after a year Canon got into the market with its XL H1 with HDV Camcorder. This XL H1 HDV camera employs 1080i HDV specification using the MPEG 2 compression to provide an hour long HD video on to a DV type. Canon’s XL H1 is competing to some of the great players in the market like JVC, Sony and Panasonic who are already leading the market with their supremely innovative product line. XL H1 is priced at $9000 which is more than expensive as compared to its competitor in HD line. Those who have already invested in Canon’s XL stream, XL H1 can be a good option but for the first time Canon buyers its hyped price, its peculiar design and video quality can be prime reasons to knock it out from their list. |
