Pricey, but nice.

User Review

The Good When I purchased a new phone plan the Samsung Eternity was brought to my attention and I was pretty skeptical. The address book application seems to run pretty well and the number I'm trying to open up is almost always easily picked after the first two or three numbers from the list. The sound going out and coming inside seems to be pretty clear not requiring a loud voice to be heard on the other side meaning the mic picks up maybe too much but that's fine with me. All in all, I can say I've yet to be disappointed with the phone.
The Bad The Address book while allowing you the simple commands doesn't seem to be able to add more then one number to a name meaning a constant reentering of a name (Depending on the user) for another number towards someone else. The calender seems to lack the ability to cancel dates that have passed and it seems to force the user to delete them manually which is a hassle that could have been made easier by just setting it to automatically delete those that we have set to delete. This is mainly an issue due to the fact that past dates have to be moved past before you can get to more current dates.
The Ugly The one thing I can truly state is ugly is the cost of the phone. At $399 without the assistance of purchasing a plan the phone doesn't seem to be worth 'that' much. Perhaps this is just me but I could probably do without paying for a phone that is expensive even when purchased with a new phone plan. If they lowered the price I would definitely look at making recommendations of the product for those like me who are on a budget.
