I highly recommend Motrin products especially for the picky kids!

User Review

The Good I’ve been a Motrin user for years. My oldest would ONLY take the original orange Motrin when she was running a fever. All the rest she would scream and cry, gag and make herself throw up if I tried to give them to her. Since then, I’ve just tried to stick with the Motrin brand because it works like a charm and she doesn’t refuse it. Now she’s 15, but we’ve got a 3, 4 and 10 year-old that this medicine works perfectly on. I don’t notice any side-effects other than the kids asking when they can take medicine again.
The Bad The only bad thing I can think of is no orange flavor in the rest of the Children’s Motrin medicines. If I could find “orange” Children’s Motrin Cold, I’d be in heaven. But since the oldest is way beyond taking “kiddie” medicine anymore, I really don’t have to worry about it. The rest of the crew aren’t so picky.
The Ugly The chewable tablets are gone, not that they tasted good to the kids, but at least they didn’t feel like they were babies and had to sip their medicine. They got to feel like big kids and take a pill. I just wish Motrin would have a swallow-pill for kids. If a kid can control their food in their mouth without making a huge mess, they can swallow a pill. Obvious dangers arise when giving adult doses to children, and that’s the only swallow-pill form available. Blah!
